great show! Thanks
The sound is awesome. Track 14 that they refer to as a new instrumental became the song they now call 'crocodile man'. It is a great intrumental for them in their recent shows. Thanks for sharing the sound!

wonderful
Excellent recording. The quality is fantastic.
Track 16 is Larry's rendition of Cincinnati Rag.

Keel, as good as it gets!
-I agree, this is Larry Keel at his sweetest! Best recording quality that I've found.
-There is something about listening to "groundhog" that just makes me hungry!
-Great show, if you like the Keels, this needs to be in your collection!

Good Stuff!
Some of these Keels recordings can be a bit flat. Not this one! Nice, lengthy show presented here in a great spatial recording. Headphone bliss! Maybe one of the best Keels recordings on here.
:-)

BRILLIANCE
To the uninitiated, this exquisite recording may be the only Larry Keel show you need. Larry definitely earned his pay this night and whatever admission was paid to attend, it was not enough. Though Andy Thorn's banjo is only slighly missed, his absence only left more room for Larry, Mark Schimick and Jenny Keel to fly in an inventive arrangement that was attuned to the Larry Keel Experience. I dare anyone to find harder working musicians, and the talent is from another world. Patrick Moore captures a stellar performance flawlessly and places it in your living room. Close your eyes and the band is there. Every track is top shelf and Larry's solo encore perfomance of Mountain Song hammers home the idea that not only does he love his wife and his music, he loves his audience as well.
